Great Tex-mex. Great people
One of my favorite places to eat in Victoria. Great food and clean restaurant. Courteous and attentive staff. Relaxing atmosphere.
Excellent customer service and food. Excellent experience
Worst Mexican food I've had. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy! And over priced.
I walked in hungry at a bit after 7 PM, having driven from Fort Worth to Aransas Pass, and was on the return leg. They sat me at a table in just a couple of minutes, and took my order for tea. The place was pretty busy, being Friday evening, but no wait at all! It was there in a flash, and I ordered. My plate was on the table within 15 minutes of walking in. Food was great, and 2 kinds of salsa with the chips. I see others complaining about the service. I got great service!
Quaint little restaurant, good food, fast & friendly service. Real good sweet tea, chips & salsa are delicious. Reasonable prices.
Fast service, great food, & even better margaritas!!! My server Jessica was very polite & checked on me often. I will definitely be coming back!!!
Hector was our waiter. Everything was excellent and on time. We have special dietary request which he handled with no problem. We will come back again for another pleasurable experience.
Great food and cold beer. Always go to place for Mex. Food
Excellent food great service A wonderful atmosphere We absolutely love this place😃
Great place to get a good bite to eat. Fast service, cold tap beer and great food.
We were greeted quickly. Our server was overwhelmed, as it would seem the rest of them were considering they weren't slammed. Took a while to get our order in. The chili con queso is just melted cheese, and the large was $9.50. Way overpriced considering the quality. The chips were extremely greasy. The chicken fried avocado was flavorless and greasy. The meat in the beef fajita was very dry and un seasoned. The soup that came with that plate was extremely salty. Then there was the veggie quesadillas. They tasted fine, but were extremely greasy as well. Overall, a terrible experience.
Good mexican food is located here
Service was great. Food was great. Taco meat could use a little more seasoning but was still good. Beef quesadillas were so delicious as well as the beef stuffed avocado. Would definitely go back.
Great food, fast service, and nice waiters.
Very good food, well priced... excellent service.
I came here to eat with my family and it was super good! I can honestly say three days later I'm still craving that taste of the food! The restaurant was nice and clean. The staff could work on their attentiveness, but I enjoyed the food.
Got food to go on Mother’s Day, it was expensive and not good quality. Small amount of food for the price and it wasn’t very good. There are far better restaurants here that serve great food for a lot less. Tortillas didn’t even taste homemade. It all tasted like frozen TV dinner.
Food was great, service was a little slow as the servers tended to be more interested in talking to each other than checking on the tables.
Good food. Good service
Very festive atmosphere. Waited on promptly. Good food, at good price. Nice entertainment.
The food is good.
A little pricey but tasty. Good service
passing thru with my folks.....I ordered mixed fajitas and steak was ok but the chicken was not fajita chicken, the chicken was not grilled & flavorless (it was old chicken preheated in microwave) and flour tortillas they gave me were cold and hard (honestly I think I was given an old order or/& order cooked hours earlier)....the riced seemed liked they mixed some undercooked or old rice with good/freshly made rice....dad got his burrito missing the beans.....for the price point they are going for it's not worth the money.
Food was great and staff was friendly.
The food was great, but when we got our drinks the soda was mostly water.
Edit.Went back for a second trip. The service here is outstanding. I like there chips and salsa combination also.I got the Jalisco and it was really awesome. The combination of the different flavors on the plate work awesome together and if you include some of the salsa that you were served earlier they go well with it too.I recommend this place for Mexican food in Victoria.
Met a friend here on our way back from picking up exotic birds, so we could eat where we could bring exotic parrots to eat outside so we didn't have to leave them in the car. Turned out to be a great choice in food and staff was wonderful. Thank you
Great seafood selections!
CHECK YOU FOOD PORTIONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!! I ordered "fajitas for 2" and it had the same amount of meet as the "fajitas for 1" only with three times the vegetables. IN OTHER WORDS IF YOUR LOOKING TO BE DISAPPOINTED GO TO LA HACIENDA MEXICAN CAFE!!!
This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in town. The staff is fantastic. The food is really good, and portions are too! The place is well kept and eating at the outside portion is enjoyable as well.
Some good eatn and service was just as good! Table for 4...Everyone had different food. Mexican plate, Steak and shrimp and I had fish and shrimp. All nicely satisfied...$78 total = Nice.
Good food and good service
The prices have gotten very expensive and the food not all what it could be. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Really, really good Tex-Mex. Probably the best in Victoria. They close at 10 and we walked in at 9:40. We asked if it was ok that we were seated so late. The waitress was incredibly kind and gracious.
Viva margaritas!!!! Food was good... No Covid 19.
I've noticed that this place is packed every time I come to Victoria, so decided to give it a try. They were not able to make the Chile relleno (No peppers) so I went with the Burrito al carbon which was excellent.
The best restaurant in town i will always puck them over any other restaurant in town. They are so good bro. Great food and service. Trene is the best waiter always nice. Even when he's not there he always looks after his customers. - Sarah
This place has improved a lot. We went today after more than a few years since our last visit and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of our food. I ordered the tortilla soup which was good (vegan even, without the cheese) and my husband enjoyed the Carne guisada. The margaritas are tasty, decently strong and cheap. I did notice that the flour tortillas are store bought which is a bummer. Still, this is a decent spot to grab some food and good drinks. We'll come here again.
The food was fine but the service was disappointing. We went on a Wednesday evening and some of the people who ordered food with us did not get their food as they asked given their dietary preferences. When we finally asked for the check it took about an hour for us to get the damn check. We literally wound up having to tell our waiter everything we ordered at the end of the meal for him to ring it up.
Had another amazing lunch!..fajita quesadillas were AWESOME!...rice & beans were fresh, guacamole was delish!
Very authentic Mexican food . Great food and service. Very nice staff.
Really great food and plenty for a decent price.
Great food. I think the live plants hanging in the middle of the place look great but I saw gnats flying around them and my table..
Just driving through town and looking for Mexican food, so glad we stopped Great food, salsa was good
I had the dish named El mariachi. The flavor of the food was delicious. Seasoned very well and portioned well.
I came to Texas for work and I was excited to have mexican food. I can honestly say that I have better mexican food in Pittsburgh. The salsa was way too spicy. I like spice, but my mouth was on fire. They had nothing less spicy. I had chicken fajitas. The chicken was not cooked on the skillet. It looked like it had been precooked, sliced, warmed up and placed on top of a bed of onions. There were no peppers at all, no spice at all. It was flavorless. I couldn't even eat more than one serving. Very disappointed.
Great tasting fried avocado, great fish taco!!
Hubby & I are from out-of-town, but stayed here for work-related reasons. This place, we found out, serves super delicious Mexican food that we've ever tasted without being salty. And surprisingly, no matter what we tried, each meal was just perfect and super enjoyable. Oh, and I love this other sauce that they serve with the chips & salsa. It's a delicious pale green yummy concoction. We can't wait to return and enjoy La Hacienda again.
Great frozen Ritas w salt on the porch!
